FROM THE NINES HOTEL TO THE GRAYBAR HOTEL? DAVID LEE HUNTER'S LATEST "CAN I SWIPE YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THE HOTEL, I LOST MY WALLET, PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE" SCAM

When David Hunter told friends he'd inadvertently left his wallet behind on the plane and asked to use their credit card to confirm a room reservation at a local hotel, promising to charge his stay to his own credit card, his friends were glad to help.

But a whopping $2380.46 hotel bill convinced them to file charges against Hunter with local police--and share Hunter's extravagant hotel bills exclusively with Miss Fortune.

At the request of the people I spoke to for this story, who agreed to provide information only on the condition that they not be identified, their names have been removed from the bills.

  1. Wow, what an awesome friend to have. I,m sure there's a great excuse coming for this one too, with no evidence to back his version either like all the others

    1. It's difficult to argue with something that can be independently verified--but that never stopped Hunter before!

  2. You're absolutely right Weaknomore. He'll come up with some excuse as to how he did no wrong, yet will not hesitate to throw stones and insults at the very people he took advantage of, as if somehow they are the ones who did wrong. It's a pattern of his. He cons HIMSELF into believing they somehow deserve what he's done. He's dillusional. He's narcissistic. And he's a sociopath. Texbook case. And at night, when it's dark and he's alone, I guarantee you he lies in the fetal position crying like a little girl in pity of himself and all of the walls that are finally closing in on him. Life is about choices. He has consciously made a choice to be a bad person. Karma's a bitch..:) When he's behind bars for many years, I'm certain that his new "daddy" in there will treat him with the same level of respect that he's treated all of us. Bend over Hunter, it's your turn...

  3. He doesn't own a car, or a valid drivers licence, or a credit card, or a debit card. So those parking charges are questionable as well. I'd place a bet that if he indeed had a car, it was under someone else's name and on someone else's tab. The lost wallet story is a popular one for him.
