PATRICK CLELAND FACING NOVEMBER 3 BOND VIOLATION HEARING: Disgraced Former Bay City Academy Interim Superintendent's Legal Woes Increase

Patrick Cleland, who served as principal at the North Central Academy in Mancelona for the past three years, and was in line to take over as Superintendent at that school and the Bay City Academy, is scheduled to appear in Grand Traverse County's 86th District Court on November 3 and expected to plead guilty to stalking. (Leelanau County court records revealed an area woman sought and received a personal protection order against Cleland on May 26, and Cleland was served on June 8.)

In addition his plea, Cleland will be also arraigned on November 3 for an unspecified bond violation. Court records indicate that Cleland repeatedly failed to appear for required random drug screenings.

  1. I would love to hear what parents from other schools have to say about this guy, he seems pretty creepy to me! I do not believe he should be involved with children and the fact that they keep him there, tells one he has secrets they don't want uncovered. Once in a crime family you can't get out?
