IS ROBERT BUCKHANNON DIRECTLY LINKED TO A NEW SCAM RUN BY CONVICTED CALIFORNIA CON MAN SAJID “JAY” GERONIMO? (Hint: In An Email To Me Yesterday, The Con Man Geronimo Didn't Deny It!)

Several weeks ago, I heard began investigating allegations that Robert Buckhannon had established a business office in Las Vegas, operating under the name “Gentle Consultant Agency LLC”.

The business appears to be a Medicare/Medicaid referral service, although the two numbers associated with it (each with the Las Vegas 702 area code), are answered with the greeting “Noble Senior Advocates”.

In addition, the business card touts “Services we provide all for FREE”.

Confused?

While I was unable to locate any Nevada business entities under either the Gentle or Noble names, I did discover the business has a direct link to a convicted California con man, Sajid  “Jay” Geronimo.

Geronimo, whose “Care Management Group” business card is shown above (the apparent umbrella organization for the Buckhannon businesses), was nabbed on November 26, 2014 at Los Angeles International Airport.

Geronimo faced charges of grand theft and elder abuse after he allegedly bilked five elderly Filipino-Americans in Santa Clara County out of more than $50,000 using an elaborate phone scam, prosecutors said.

Geronimo contacted his first victim over the phone in 2012, prosecutors said, posing as a loan officer named James Alkin or Arkin who worked at “HLA Processing,” a fictitious company.

The unsuspecting victim recommended four other people to Geronimo after he allegedly promised to reduce the victim’s monthly mortgage payments by hundreds of dollars through a refinancing program. All of the victims were facing foreclosure on their homes, according to prosecutors.

After filling out fraudulent loan applications, Geronimo sent the victims fake loan approval letters on Citibank Mortgage letterhead and convinced them to transfer a deposit into an escrow account, which was actually his own personal bank account, prosecutors said.

“Desperate for some financial relief, some people look for desperate solutions,” prosecutor Charles Huang said. “There are criminals out there who can and will take advantage. Use extreme caution when dealing with anyone who promises miraculous financial cures.”

Geronimo ultimately took a deal, and served less than two years before being released from supervision in 2018.

Geronimo's business card was provided to me along with two other business cards related to the Buckhannon-linked business, Gentle Consultant Agency LLC.

After confirming numerous details of Geronimo's checkered fraud career, including his involvement in a 2013 Washington State mortgage fraud scheme with Moncerrat Beltran's Bridgeman, Howard & Associates, a $500,000 breach of contract civil suit filed September 26, 2019 in Orange County, California's Superior Court against Geronimo's Cure Healthcare, Inc. by SDL Soft Tech Private Unlimited, and his newly-formed SRK Management, Inc. (formed in April 2019 at the same Buena Park address used on Geronimo's Care Management Group business card), I reached out to him via email yesterday, December 19.

Here's my initial message:
Shortly afterward, Geronimo responded:

Notice what Geronimo didn't say: I don't know Robert Buckhannon.

Preferring to avoid a phone call, and capture information in writing, I responded:
And he answered:

Packing my final punch with holiday cheer, I let Geronimo know what I was looking for:
And that was the end of the conversation.

Do I think Buckhannon is involved in yet another scheme?

Hell, yes!

Will I share the information with the AUSA prosecuting Buckhannon's current case?

Yes, but (unlike my other contacts), I will do it after I publish my story.

That's a mistake I won't make again.

We'll see if Buckhannon wiggles out of this...like he did with his sleazy little cryptocurrency scam.

Looks to me like Dr. Rob is violating his plea agreement.

Merry Christmas, dickhead!
