DAVID DAMANTE TO REMAIN OUT OF CUSTODY UNTIL DECEMBER 10 REVOCATION HEARING; Con Man Facing Third Return Trip To Prison Following 2015 Release

Damante Plead Guilty In 2013 To Two Counts Of Wire Fraud, Sentenced to 41 Months in 2014

Convicted felon, and notorious con man, David Damante (AKA David Diamante, Robert Damante, Robert Diamante) will remain free until a previously-scheduled December 10, 2019 revocation hearing.

Although he's facing a third trip back to prison since his January 2015 release to a federal residential re-entry facility (AKA “halfway house”), Damante received good news yesterday in U. S. District Court in Las Vegas when Judge Andrew P. Gordon granted his petition to remain free until his upcoming hearing.

Damante has an extensive history of violating the terms of his release.

While at the halfway house in 2015, Damante reported to his probation officer that he was working at “Arts Montage.”

In reality, Damante was “spending his days sunbathing.”

The probation office also received documentation that Damante and his business partner “were attempting to start a vitamin and supplement business,” which “was developed to try and defraud businesses.”

During this same time, Damante attempted to “purchase a Lamborghini” under a business name.

The probation officer also learned that Damante had used false names on social media and had been communicating with a “convicted felon.”

These violations resulted in Damante being returned to BOP custody on June 1, 2015. After serving the remainder of his custodial sentence, Damante began his supervised release term on June 18, 2015.

In April 2016, the probation officer filed a petition and addendum to revoke Damante’s supervision.

Damante, pictured breaking bad (violating the terms of his current release) at a September 22, 2019 event in Los Angeles, went on to violate again in 2018—with a massive art fraud scheme detailed exclusively on this blog.

I've covered Damante extensively since early 2014, and I'm stumped by the fact he's never been charged with any additional crimes...ever.

If you've been a victim of David Damante, I urge you to file a police report in your jurisdiction.

And make sure to tell the police about his extensive criminal history.
