Oh, 'tis a privilege to have lived long enough to see Michael Moore transmute from an activist to an ersatz businessman crowing about a government bailout.
Moore, who never delivered the in-depth financial information he promised in 2018 regarding the Traverse City Film Festival, has scored a nearly $1.0 million federal grant with the help of his boyhood friend, Michigan Congressman Dan Kildee.
The unfinished business of the TCFF will now go the way of its former Festival Director--swept under the rug.
Stay tuned: the two women once described by Moore as responsible for "turning the festival around and repairing the damage done by a previous iteration of festival management" are long gone, cut loose by Moore, leaving him to flap and crow all by himself.

Capitalism, more or less. Just Moore, not less.
