FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT REQUEST SUBMITTED TO GRAND TRAVERSE ACADEMY TODAY; RESPONSE PENDING
Re: Comstock Construction Company v. Grand Traverse Academy, et al Grand Traverse County Circuit Court File No. 2017032334GK

“STIPULATION AND ORDER TO DISMISS”
There are appropriate times for non-disclosure agreements to be used by publicly-funded entities, particularly in situations where personal information could be included. Cases involving students, who are covered under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, could also require non-disclosures.
But not in this case.
This afternoon, I sent a Freedom of Information Act request to the Grand Traverse Academy, requesting full details on how our money (yours and mine) was spent to settle a contract dispute filed on October 25, 2017 by Comstock Construction against the Academy; Full Spectrum Management, LLC; MDN Development, LLC; and Mark Noss.
Tick tock, tick tock!
FYI the board meeting on August 13th they approved a $70,000 payment to Comstock. $20,000 2018, $25,000 2019, and $25,000 2020. The video is posted on their website. Not a big secret
ReplyDeleteMaybe not a "secret" now, but it was until Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 2:51:49 PM when the GTA board posted the video on YouTube.
DeleteDefinitely sounds like one of Ingersoll oils cronies
