TURD POLISHING 101: PER WICKSTROM SPONSORS "SALUTE TO DETROIT'S HOMETOWN HEROES"; THE SCAMMING SCIENTOLOGIST USES EVENT TO SHILL FOR HIS CRACKPOT REHAB CLINICS

On Saturday, June 8, 2013, Ford Field’s Hall of Legends welcomed over 250 guests for A Forever Recovery and Mack Alive’s 2013 Salute to Detroit Hometown Heroes. Four metro Detroiters were honored during the fund and friend raising event for Mack Alive’s Partnership for a Drug Free Detroit.

The four honorees--Lem Barney, former Detroit Lion and NFL Hall of Famer; Greg K. Monroe, Detroit Piston and founder of Greg K. Monroe Foundation; Alberta Tinsley Talabi, State Representative and Mack Alive founder; and Michael Curis, Sr., president Curis Enterprises--were chosen for their community service, commitment to improving the quality of life in Detroit, and bringing greater awareness to substance addiction solutions.

But Per Wickstrom, the event sponsor, hijacked the event and turned it into a big-ass infomercial for his troubled, Narconon-based drug rehabilitation clinics, A Forever Recovery and Best Drug Rehabilitation.

And Detroit City Councilman Andre Spivey even thanked Wickstrom for hosting the special evening and presented him with a “Spirit of Detroit Award” for his continued fight against addiction and his ongoing effort to educate today’s youth.

Posing in front of that Best Drug Rehabilitation/A Forever Recovery branded step-and-repeat are (from left): developer Michael Curis, Alberta Tinsley Talabi, State Representative and Mack Alive founder, Wickstrom, and Lem Barney.

Folks, that's what money can do for you!

In his continuing quest to turn shit into shinola, it looks like Wickstrom struck paydirt at this party.

Paying a New Jersey outfit, Ideas4Rent, to register and host a quickie Word Press site (http://detroitshometownheroes.com/), Wickstrom wrapped himself in a cloak of respectability--and added yet another "Potemkin" good news site that can push down the unseemly results that crop up when you do a Google search under "Per Wickstrom".

With his hundreds of "funnel" redirect sites, synthetic PR and well-massaged reputation management, Wickstrom's crap still floats--and it's usually on Ripoff Report. Is it any wonder that people are still fooled by the facade?

Never fear, dear readers, Miss Fortune is still number three in "Per Wickstrom" Google results!
