For those who've just joined the party, here's a bit of Buckhannon backstory, courtesy of your girl Miss Fortune:

The home, at 200 Wahwahtaysee Way, hit the market on June 7th, with an asking price of $585,000.
Listing agent Amy Turley describes the 4,316 sq. ft. home in typical broker gush:
The Fell Mansion is a treasure located on a dreamy 3 acre estate on flowing Minges Brook. In-ground magical pool, completely updated kitchen done to match the magistracy of this special home. Library has fireplace with gold leaf Longfellow poem. 14 x 14 screen porch off French doors from living room with marble fireplace. Beautiful oak floors. Dining room has Waterford light fixtures. Kitchen has restaurant quality appliances. Six bedrooms upstairs, both spiral staircase, maids staircase plus elevator. Regal master suite with updated bath and dressing room is unique. The third floor is not finished. Walkout basement has wet bar to pergola patio. This home is truly special and fit for a princess.
Official Battle Creek property records show Buckhannon bought the home on April 16, 2012, but do not indicate a sale price. The home had previously sold in July 2010 for $550,000.
And of course, you know that the crooked chiropractor was smart enough to lay plans back then to keep this home away from creditors if he was ever sued.
Buckhannon, likely anticipating the trouble to come, signed a quit-claim deed on October 1, 2012, officially granting the home to his live-in moll, business partner and [sigh] princess, Kelly Demoss.
A property record excerpt confirming that transaction is shown below:
