BREAKING NEWS! INDICTMENT JUST UNSEALED!

Cue the calliope, let the media circus begin! Does Miss Fortune know how to pick 'em, or what?

Nearly a year after he was featured on this blog in a story titled Steven J. Ingersoll: An Ass Clown And His Media Circus, Traverse City-based "entrepreneur" Ingersoll was federally indicted Thursday, April 10, along with his wife, brother and two others, in a case alleging they conspired to commit bank fraud.

Ingersoll, his wife Deborah M. Ingersoll, his brother Gayle R. Ingersoll, Roy C. Bradley Sr. and his wife Tammy S. Bradley are each charged with conspiracy to commit bank fraud, US. Attorney Barbara L. McQuade said in a statement released Thursday.

Steve Ingersoll, Roy Bradley and Gayle Ingersoll also are charged with conspiracy to evade federal income tax laws and wire fraud offenses.

According to the indictment, the U.S. Attorney's Office alleges the group from April 2010 to June 2011 conspired to defraud Chemical Bank out of $1.8 million in a construction line of credit loan to convert a church into a school for use by Bay City Academy, a charter school founded by Steven Ingersoll.

MISS FORTUNE HAS THE INDICTMENT, AND WILL BE POSTING AN UPDATE WITH MORE DETAILS LATER TODAY!
