SHLAIMOUN, PARTY OF TWO! Battle Creek's "Crooked Chiropractor" Robert Buckhannon & Shady Hedge Fund Associate Zia Shlaimoun Team Up With Secret Business Venture Goldstar Laboratories. (Just Wait Until The Feds Find Out!)

PART TWO: Read the first installment at this link.

Robert Buckhannon, known to longtime readers of this blog as the "crooked chiropractor", has been really, really busy since his arrest by the feds on October 1, 2014. Released shortly after on bond, Buckhannon's court-appointed attorney claimed he was "broke with an expired passport" and lacks enough cash to flee the county. Buckhannon travel was initially limited to Clark County, Nevada and was required to wear a GPS ankle monitor.

Buckhannon's travel restrictions were relaxed on July 13, 2015 when a Nevada U. S. District Court judge signed an order modifying his pretrial release, allowing him to travel to "jurisdictions outside of Clark County, Nevada", including the entire continental U. S. and Hawaii.

Buckhannon was later allowed to removed the ankle bracelet on December 18, 2015, when his new attorney, the politically-connected Michael V. Cristalli, Esq., of the Las Vegas law firm Gentile Cristalli Miller Armeni Savarese, asserted Buckhannon had been compliant with pretrial services and claimed that Buckhannon's "ability to travel to jurisdictions freely without restriction is imperative to his employment".

Stating "Buckhannon presents no risk of flight and is not a danger to his community", Cristalli said Buckhannon had "never failed to appear and has not indicated that he would not appear".

According to its CEO, John Rittenour, Buckhannon was employed as the Executive Vice President of New Business Development for Las Vegas-based Clinical Testing Corp LLC.

The company was founded in Nevada on October 28, 2014, but when its website launched shortly after, Clinical Testing Corp, LLC was already boasting that it had "provided outsourced services to thousands of customers from most healthcare disciplines, including nearly all of the largest pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and chemical companies in the world." (You can read the entire preposterous backstory at this link: "Liquid Gold".)

Well, it looks to Miss Fortune that Buckhannon took that "new business" development thing seriously, and developed a bunch of new entities with his fellow fraudster, cousin-in-law Zia Shlaimoun.

Shlaimoun, who currently goes by "Zy", is likely to be called to testify during Buckhannon's federal trial. The trial is expected to begin on April 24, 2017, after having been delayed four times.

As you can see from the chart below, Buckhannon had formed seven business entities, some with Shlaimoun, even before he doffed his ankle bracelet.

(Buckhannon married his longtime girlfriend Marlena Michaels, Shlaimoun's first cousin, on May 15, 2009. Of course, I broke the story on this blog back on March 10, 2014. There are no records of a Buckhannon/Michaels divorce.)

Clinical Testing Corp (CTC) was formed by John Rittenour on October 28, 2014.

While Buckhannon was reportedly working for CTC, he and its Vice President of Business Development Justin Covillon formed Regent Health Systems LLC in Las Vegas on March 3, 2015. Buckhannon's name was removed from the corporation's record on September 3, 2015.

According to his LinkedIn page, Covillon departed CTC in August 2015 and now lists Managing Partner at Regent Health Systems LLC as his current employment. (From the image at left, taken today from CTC's formerly robust website, indicates the party may be over.)

On June 9, 2015, Buckhannon (while he was supposed to be flitting around the country training sales people) formed Phoenician Medical LLC as a Delaware corporation, later (on July 17, 2015) forming Phoenician Medical LLC in Florida under a "foreign limited liability corporation" status.

On July 20, 2015, a new venture, Goldstar Laboratories, was formed as a Delaware corporation.

Between October 29, 2015-February 6, 2016, six more "Goldstar" entities were formed: Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, Dayton and Texas.

Of the six, three already have National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers. The NPI is a unique identification number for covered health care providers.

And yes, the entities with NPI numbers (Florida, Ohio and Missouri) are all officially linked to Zy Shlaimoun.

As you can see at left, the Goldstar Laboratories Missouri LLC NPI record lists Shlaimoun as the "owner" and gives his California phone as the corporate contact.

And that wasn't Shlaimoun's only mistake, but it was the one that helped provide the tip to Miss Fortune that revealed the previously-secret Shlaimoun/Buckhannon partnership.

And you can read Part 3, the final installment of this series, in a couple days!

Aren't you lucky?
