David R. Damante, the subject of a flurry of stories on this blog over the last ten days, had landed back in prison.
Details are incomplete, but Miss Fortune has confirmed that Damante is currently being housed at the Nevada Southern Detention Center, a 1,072-bed, medium-to maximum-security detention center located on a 60-acre site in Pahrump, Nevada, while awaiting transfer back to a federal prison.
Damante, the self-styled "super creator" of an apparently bogus product line called "Whey2Go", registered Whey 2 Go Ltd. as a Nevada corporation on April 6, 2015—while residing in the Las Vegas Community Correctional Center, a halfway house. (The company has since been dissolved.)
Claiming on the site that Walmart was "on a waiting list" and "making an offer" to expedite shipment of his product (quickly debunked by Miss Fortune), Damante reportedly solicited investors and offered "advance orders" of the product.
Damante's scheme quickly unraveled after it was exposed by Miss Fortune.
The company's website has been deleted—but not before your girl Miss Fortune grabbed screen captures of its content!
In the meantime, Damante is cooling his heels in this facility (above), far away from the bright lights of Las Vegas.
