David Damante, currently residing in a Las Vegas halfway house, will be released from federal custody in late June...and he'll likely return to his pattern of behavior.

In 2014, Damante was petitioning for 'extended halfway house time via the Second Chance Act of 2008'. The following letter was submitted to the court, as part of his official case record.

Here's my favorite excerpt: “Mr. Damante has sincerely learned his lesson and is very remorseful, contrite, and sorry for the pain his illegal actions have caused to everyone. He realizes that he has no one to blame but himself.” 

Tell that to the judge, baby!
