CONVICTED FELON DAVID DAMANTE DOESN'T LIKE MY REPORTING ON HIS EXTENSIVE CRIMINAL HISTORY: Las Vegas Halfway House Resident Damante Threatens “Federal Libel Lawsuit”

On April 10, I received the following email from convicted felon, David Damante, who proclaimed that I must “cease and desist” my coverage of his extensive criminal history. 

While I ignored that email, Damante upped the ante—with another email that threatened me with a federal libel lawsuit (which doesn't exist, as it's a state civil action.)

Here's the April 10 email:

However, the second email (sent on April 18) included a implicit threat: the email was sent to my tcmissfortune@yahoo.com email address, but it included my full name (including my middle name), and my home address, which I've redacted from the image below.

In short, Damante sent a “watch out, I know where you live” threat. 

But it didn't work. 

This morning, I forwarded Damante's emails to the Assistant United States Attorney overseeing his case and to the United States Probation Office in Las Vegas.

If Mr. Schneider is indeed Damante's attorney, they make a peach of a pair.
