DAVID DAMANTE SEEKS ANOTHER DELAY; REVOCATION HEARING NOW SET FOR NOVEMBER 12, 2019 COULD BE DELAYED UNTIL EARLY 2020

David Damante seeks another delay; wannabe porn star needs more time to “coordinate with witnesses” who may testify on his behalf.

David Damante's court-appointed attorney, Assistant Federal Public Defender Andrew Wong, filed a second request this morning to delay Damante's revocation hearing, currently set for November 12, 2019.

Originally scheduled for October 28, it was subsequently delayed and rescheduled for November 12. However, Mr. Sexy Jobs (clearly still violating a prohibition against self-employment) now claims that a recent trip to Sacramento derailed the progress of preparing for that November 12 hearing.

According to a motion filed October 23 on Damante's behalf by Wong, on the day of his initial court appearance (October 3), Damante’s mother had a stroke and was admitted to a Sacramento hospital.

On October 5, Damante’s mother passed away, according to court documents.

Damante later contacted Federal Public Defender Sylvia Irvin, who “worked with the Probation Office to allow Damante to travel to Sacramento to pay respects to his mother and to spend time with his brother and family.”

Damante, the purveyor of phony dog treats, returned to Las Vegas from Sacramento on October 25.

According to today's Motion To Continue, while preparing for the November 12 revocation hearing, “defense counsel has determined that additional time is needed to coordinate with witnesses who may testify on Mr. Damante’s behalf. An additional forty-five days will allow defense counsel to contact and coordinate with these witnesses.”

Gee, 45 days brings us to December 27, 2019.

Anybody want to bet that Santa's sack may contain a third request for a delay?
