INGERSOLL CASE UPDATE: ADDITIONAL SENTENCING HEARING DATES SCHEDULED IN JANUARY 2016!

It looks like Steven Ingersoll and Roy Bradley won't be having Christmas dinner behind bars this year.

Two "notice to appear" documents were filed late yesterday afternoon in US District Court, ordering Ingersoll and co-defendant Bradley to appear on January 5 and January 26, 2016.

Case management confirmed to Miss Fortune today that both the prosecution and defense plan on presenting additional evidence and that a formal sentencing date has not been set.

Any guesses where Steve will be spending Christmas?

Traverse City...Bay City..or Boca?

  1. Thank you for the update. You are the only credible source of information for many of us. I read a December 3rd article in NPR that Judge Ludington thought the money Ingersoll took was only a concession. Does it look like the longer this goes, the less likely of a prison sentence?

    1. Ingersoll will indeed be sentenced; the hearing will determine possible enhancements that may be applied.

    2. Solid citizens believe he will get at least 5 years and most likely 7 years as a minimum because of his
honest services fraud and non-cooperation in failing to provide honest income/assets/etc. on multiple occasions. His selling off of properties which began the day after his conviction will not be kindly looked upon either.

  2. Why could his tush not be sitting in prison for this year??? It will be almost a year since this criminal was convicted and his butt is still out in the community. Judge Ludington should take fraud seriously and put him in prison to wait out the games. PRISON PRISON PRISON

  3. What burns me up is that the only real coverage this case is getting comes up on a blog. This kind of theft goes on all over our country, yet there is very little coverage in the press. Not even the LOCAL NEWSPAPERS. Are local people too ashamed to admit they've been had? In the good old days, this man would have been tarred and feathered in a local square.

    1. Have you contacted your local newspaper, TV station, etc.? It's one thing to decry the fact that local media refuses to cover this story, but it's another thing to let them know.

Maybe if more people stuck their necks out, more stories would appear.
