D-I-V-O-R-C-E: Moore Accuses Glynn Of Wasting "Marital Funds" on "Her" Torch Lake Mansion

WILL THIS YEAR'S "MIKE'S SURPRISE" BE A REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH?

The divorce battle between filmmaker Michael Moore and producer Kathleen Glynn (first reported on this blog) is heating up, and the list of potential witnesses for the duo's upcoming divorce trial includes Traverse City attorney Enrico Schaefer and super agent Ari Emanuel.

The Smoking Gun discloses recent court documents in a story that reveals Moore is battling Glynn over the valuation of the couple’s assets, while branding her a spendthrift who “unilaterally wasted a large percentage of the marital funds” building a Torch Lake mansion that prompted mocking news stories about the activist filmmaker’s wealth. (File this under "can dish it out, but can't take it".)

The couple’s real estate holdings include a total of nine properties in Michigan and New York. The duo co-owns a Manhattan condo that was created through the combination of three separate units. While the couple’s combined assets are likely worth tens of millions of dollars, court records do not contain specific valuations for their property.

If Miss Fortune had a dollar for every time someone blamed capitalism for their problems...I'd be a filmmaker with a baseball cap.

And although it's getting uglier, Miss Fortune predicts the Glynn/Moore divorce will be settled out-of-court.
