While I wish I'd written that subhead, it's taken from Hartford Courant opinion column written by Connecticut-based public radio host Colin McEnroe.
McEnroe refers to the recent Detroit Free Press eight-part charter school series, and includes this gem:
"It's currently harder to advance to the next round of "America's Got Talent" than it is to get charter school money. Howard Stern asks tougher questions than education regulators, and Heidi Klum is better at spotting poseurs."
